When we are menopausal, premenopausal, or post-menopausal we can feel like our mind and body are not our own anymore!

Anxiety, low mood, loss of confidence, low self-esteem and irritability are all symptoms we can suffer from during this time, and it can be very difficult to feel motivated and in control.

While there used to be a huge stigma around menopause and its symptoms, things are different now and most of us will try to do all that we can to overcome these negative feelings and emotions. Reducing stress levels, taking up exercise and eating a healthier diet with a reduced intake of caffeine and alcohol can all contribute to reducing some symptoms.
